The Mixer Wardrobe System by Alf DaFrè offers 3 door design options. Wardrobes with Swinging Doors are an excellent solution when you want to check all of the wardrobe’s contents at once, as the doors don’t overlap. This modern closet can have clean lines, neutral colors, but can also be customized with more bold, eye-catching colors. If you want to display your designer wardrobe, the Mixer Wardrobe system can be customized with glass or with mirrors. There are 6 closet designs within the Alf DaFrè Mixer Series with Swinging Doors : Display, Rain, Simple, Sliver, Split, and Strip.Â
How A swinging doors wardrobe works
The Swinging Doors are equipped with assisted-closing hinges, with the exception of the dressing closet, corner and end units.
Our Alf DaFrè hinges are made out of state-of-the-art materials. They are tested over 80,000 opening cycles guaranteeing longevity and reliability over time.
If you prefer your wardrobe  to take up less storage space and focus on storing essential clothing you wear every day, opt in for a wardrobe with 2 swinging doors or one with 4 swinging doors. This closet offers ample space for keeping your clothes, bed linen, towels and much more. If your bedroom is small, a wardrobe with 6 swinging doors will not be suitable. However, there are plenty of compact solutions available (like the Mixer Glide Wardrobe).Â
Display
Display is a closet with a glass door & a metal frame around the edge. It is available in clear glass, mirror, or grey mirror. Glass doors let you display & protect your clothing at the same time. Display does this with a designer metal frame. The metal rails create a rectangular section which, in its profile, hides the mechanisms that open the closet quietly and elegantly.
Rain
Rain is a modern designer wardrobe with swinging doors that features vertical machined work. The Alf DaFrè design creates a unique visual effect. It is available in wood or lacquered finish. The inspiration for this door comes from rain and the trails left after raindrops hit the surface. This gives rise to a closet design inspired by nature and modern art.
Simple
As the name suggests, Simple is a wardrobe with swinging doors characterized by the simplicity & linearity of its shape. A design that goes perfectly and discreetly in any domestic environment. Because the smooth panels are so “simple” in this closet, the personalization comes with the vast array of finishes available. To top that off, Simple may not be as simple as you may think, choose between 9 different handles for that perfect look.Â
Sliver
Sliver is the sister of the Simple Mixer wardrobe with a design that is fairly simple, but with a bit more edge. Take a look at the door intricacies. Â After you examine Sliver closely, you can appreciate the workmanship in the door panel, which creates a handle to open it. Â These swinging doors celebrate the time-tested experience in Italian craftsmanship. In this closet design, a section of the surface actually slopes without any joins. The result? a handle that is part of the door itself.
Split
Split is a modern closet with an elegant, minimalistic design door. The handle to open it is provided by vertical profiles that are perfectly integrated along the full height. What might be the simplest & most practical solution for opening a door in a designer wardrobe? The answer is Split. Its vertical metal profile allows for easy opening alongside the full height of the door. Like the other Mixer wardrobes, this feature does not impinge upon the wardrobe’s design.
Strip
The Strip closet, like Display, makes a statement in the Alf DaFrè Mixer closet series.  This designer wardrobe is distinguished by the 2 contrasting strips that make up the door panel. The narrower strip accommodates special machining work that forms the handle to open the swinging doors. A vertical strip with a contrasting finish gives personality to the surface of an otherwise sleek panel. Between the floor-to-ceiling vertical lines lies a short, horizontal gap forming the handle to open Strip.
